Objective: Designed to maximize boost response for factory frame turbochargers, the Turbosmart IWG75 Series of upgraded actuators improve the 'Working Ratio' over stock equipment, resulting in superior boost response throughout the RPM range.
Enhanced 'Working Ratio': Achieved by increasing the effective surface area of the diaphragm and revising the installed springs. This enhancement allows for better leverage against boost and backpressure forces while maintaining high responsiveness.
Performance Expectations: Upgrading with the same base pressure as the factory is expected to widen the boost and torque curve. Peak boost is achieved earlier in the RPM range and is sustained for a longer duration into higher RPM. Higher base pressures can further enhance these improvements, but tuning and recalibration may be necessary.
