The A'PEXi Power Intake Kit for 1990-1996 Nissan 300ZX is a top-of-the-line air filter that maximizes horsepower. Based on the concept of utilizing air flow along surfaces, the Dual Funnel design features a primary funnel on the top portion of the air cleaner that directs airflow into lower funnels at the base. This design, which was originally successful with the Super Intake model, has been further improved in the Power Intake with advancements in funnel design, element material, and air flow channeling. By using a highly durable injected resin for both the upper and lower funnels, engineers were able to create the most efficient funnel shape possible. The lower funnel, specifically designed at a 14 degree curve, ensures maximum efficiency and eliminates dead spots within the cleaner. The A'PEXi Power Intake Kit for 1990-1996 Nissan 300ZX features a newly developed layer filter made of dry density fibers, providing improved element density for maximum protection against foreign materials. Compared to previous models, the Power Intake also reduces ventilation resistance by approximately 10% (pressure loss) for optimal performance and protection. This dry-type filter eliminates the common issues associated with wet-type cleaners, such as oil build-up on the air flow meter, making maintenance hassle-free. If needed, the filter replacement can be easily done at a low cost.
